Hydraulic fluid is a pressure transmitting medium that transfers the energy generated by a hydraulic pump to a hydraulic actuator on a device such as a cylinder or motor. In order to achieve the precise, accurate and stable operation of the hydraulic equipment, the hydraulic fluid is required to have lubricating performance, rust and corrosion prevention properties, temperature and viscosity properties, stability and anti-foaming properties. Of the hydraulic fluids available, the fire-resistant hydraulic fluid "HYDOL" is used on hydraulic equipment such as die casting machines producing aluminum automobile parts, steelmaking equipment and presses, and it protects this plant equipment from fires.
Fire-resistant hydraulic fluid
On hydraulic equipment that handles molten metal, such as steelmaking equipment and die casting machines, there is a risk of fire accidents occurring if the hydraulic fluid catches fire. Fire-resistant hydraulic fluid that does not easily catch fire is used to prevent factory fires before they occur. Of all the fire-resistant hydraulic fluids available, water-glycol hydraulic fluid has the merit that it has outstanding fire resistance and also well-balanced performance.
