Gas & Water Vapor Transmittance Measurement Device - Contracted Analysis: Contracted Measurements

Gas and Water Vapor Permeability - Contracted Measurements
Fast, highly precise, and highly sensitive measurements will aid in the development and quality control of barrier films.
In addition to measurements for barrier films and sheets used in the fields of organic devices, solar cells, and food products and packaging, we also have an abundance of measurement results for ceramics in semiconductor fields, glass in container/packaging fields, and metals in electronic components fields.
Furthermore, the MA method using a support makes it possible to accurately measure thin and brittle samples, fragile samples, and samples that are otherwise difficult to handle.
Measurement method | MA method or differential pressure method | |
---|---|---|
"Measured gas (example) *1 " | Water vapor, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide, argon, etc. | |
Test conditions (example) *1 | Water vapor permeability | 40°C90%RH, 60°C90%RH, 85°C85%RH... etc. |
Gas permeability | 40°C1atm, 40°C0.1atm, 85°C1atm... etc. |
|
Sample film thickness | 0.01-5mm | |
Required sample size *2 | 85 x 85 mm or higher (With Φ60 mm permeable part standard) * A Φ60 mm permeable part is used as the standard. |
|
20 x 20 mm or higher (With Φ10 mm permeable part) |
||
30 x 30 mm or higher (With Φ20 mm permeable part standard) |
||
50 x 50 mm or higher (With Φ40 mm permeable part standard) |
||
100 x 100 mm or higher (With Φ90 mm permeable part) |
*1 Measurement gases and test conditions described are examples. Please inquire if you would like other conditions.
*2 Φ60 mm is the standard for the permeable part. By changing the attachment, it is possible to measure Φ10 mm, Φ20 mm, Φ40 mm, Φ90 mm, and other diameters, as well as measurements other than film shape. Please inquire.
Contracted Measurements - Order Process
Contracted measurement (contracted analysis) orders are handled following the below process.
Please contact us if our services are of interest.
I. Contact/Inquiry Feel free to first contact us by e-mail or telephone to start the process. Tell us about the gas to be measured, measurement conditions, measurement size, number of items, and so on, to the best of your knowledge. |
|
II. Estimate Creation We will prepare an estimate for the test method, delivery date, costs, etc. based on the details of your request. |
|
III. Order Placement Should you decide to place an order with us, please send us an order form and samples. Depending on the usage status of our devices, the barrier performance of the sample, etc., it will take between 1 day and 2 weeks to handle the process from receipt of samples to reporting of results (a consultation regarding delivery date will be required). |
|
IV. Measurement/Evaluation We will perform measurement, evaluation, and analysis in accordance with your request. We can also handle the above according to a specified schedule and you can also be present during the time of measurement. |
|
V. Results Report We will prepare and send a report. If you have any questions or concerns about the measurement results, please feel free to contact us. |
